Zarg Nuts - Drax

Drax eats these in the Marvel film, Guardians of the Galaxy, in the scene where he believes he is invisible!
I could not find an image of the pack - so I created the design below, based on the film image.

Alice & Tardis T-Shirt

As a lover of Alice in Wonderland & Doctor Who, I decided to design a T-Shirt to combine the two.
The Alice and Frog illustration is adapted from John Tenniel's original drawing.

Lewis Carroll's Birthplace - The Parsonage

I took the original black and white photograph, retouched and coloured it to get a better idea of how it looked when Lewis Carroll lived there in the 1830's.

Prince - Why did you have to die?

I created this graphic to pose a very simple question that nobody can ever answer.
RIP Prince Rogers Nelson. You were the soundtrack to my life.

The limited test pressing of this rare Prince album (approx 25 copies) did not have a cover design.
My design below, is what I believe it may have looked like. We can only wonder.

Warner Brothers v NPG Adverts

A brilliant set of adverts created by Warner Brothers and NPG Records.
The first one is a WB advert promoting the new Prince album, the second is Prince's response from his own record company NPG Records.
I re-created these adverts as I could not find a decent version of them on the internet.
Enjoy O+>.

Superfunkycalifragisexy T-Shirt

I created a new T-Shirt based on the song from Prince's legendary Black Album.

Prince 7 T-shirt

I designed some t-shirts combining the Love symbol and a number 7.
Prince has a long association with the number 7 and it appears in many of his songs.

Prince Love Symbol - Origin & History

Prince first used a version of the famous 'Love Symbol' in 1982 on the cover of the 1999 album - and it came into prominence in the 1984 film Purple Rain. But where did it come from...?
Somebody was definitely influenced by alchemy symbols as there are exact copies of this logo going back to the 15th century (see below). It is the alchemy symbol for "Copiapite" a mineral.
I thought it was interesting that the alchemy symbol that represents Prince - "cOPIApiTE" contains the word "opiate" which is what lead to the artists untimely death.

Prince - Gold Chain Hat Tattoo

This tattoo design is a mash-up of several ideas based on Prince. The 'Yes' text on the hat is taken from the Lovesexy album. The hat and chains are based on a stage costume from the NPG tours. The skull represents the fact that Prince has passed away - but his musical legacy will live on. O+>

Free Your Mind - Funkadelic Tattoo

I created this design and had it tattooed on my forearm - as a Tribute to George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic - one of my favourite bands. Stay Funky :-)

Funk Bomb - Parliament Funkadelic

A new tattoo design - combining a bomb and a snare drum. Its also an ambigram - so it reads correct on the body regardless of the wearers position :-) Funky!
