Hexagons

The hexagon is one of my favourite shapes. By overlapping and intersecting them you can create some interesting graphic patterns. I used a retro inspired colour palette to create this design in Illustrator CS.

Taxi

A new logo and brand identity for a local Taxi Firm 'Micks Taxis'.
The brief was to create a bright, vibrant look that would stand out from typical taxi logos in the area.
Logo and graphics created in Illustrator CS using the Rockwell font.

Ampersand

I created this 3D ampersand in Illustrator CS. The colour palette is retro inspired and the font is a modified version of Geometric Slabserif. I made extensive use of the pattern tools to create the interlocking colours.

Colour Pallet

A paper cut design based on the word-play between the words 'palette' a collection of colour and 'pallet' a wooden crate. All elements hand cut from coloured paper.

Core

A brand design that includes a new logo, alternative logo and brochure cover design. I have used a minimal colour palette and graphic to represent the 'core' brand name.

SOS

A 3D paper cut design that is based on the word play between the words 'soul' and 'sole'. The 'sole' being the shoe and the 'soul' represented by the angel wings. All elements hand cut and scored from 160gsm Colourplan from GF Smith.

Cone

This 3D paper cut design is a combination of an ice cream in a traffic cone - which I thought might look interesting together (obviously not to scale!) All elements hand cut from coloured paper and textured added to the flake with an embossing tool.
